Man arrested over murder of British diplomat in Lebanon was an Uber driver

Rebecca Dykes, a British diplomat in Lebanon, was found murdered near a motorway outside of Beirut on Saturday morning. The man suspected of murdering her is an Uber driver and has been identified only as “Tareq H.” Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency has said that the suspect attempted to rape her, strangled her, and then dumped her body on the road.
