Heartfelt Proposal Goes The Extra Mile... And Then Some

Men who say, "I can make that" are some of the most creative, thoughtful and inventive people out there. Justin McRae is that guy, so in planning his proposal to Patti, he knew it had to be HIS kind of special. He not only crafted the ring from platinum but the diamond he used is from his mother's original engagement ring. He's got the ring, but how is he going to ask her?

Justin hikes nearly four miles into Tallulah Gorge to find one very beat-up, forgotten blue truck. He nails a sign up in a nearby tree where Patti can easily see it with a pair of binoculars. He recreates one of their very first dates as they hike to Inspiration Point lookout. After patiently waiting for her to spot the sign, he gets down on one knee and Patti can hardly believe it all. Congratulations you two!
