The Sound:
Acoustic ambience mixed with heavy riffs, slinky bass and rocking beats provide the perfect platform for a sublime rock voice that will chill you to the bone. Night Time Fiona will make you weep with them on their slower numbers and scream with pleasure during their heavier, fast-paced tracks.
The Experience:
The boys from Night Time Fiona (NTF) joined forces in 2011 with the vision to write and play tunes that would evoke a fruit salad of emotions from listeners. While the sound of the band has been likened to that of Powderfinger and Pearl Jam, the boys have a distinct sound unique to themselves...and maybe very intoxicated angels.
The Beginning:
In the beginning there was only man...then Fiona came along and kicked him in his jungle fruit, and thus NTF was born. The band came together through a shared dream to play music they enjoyed and in the hope that others may enjoy as well. Ben and Andrew were jamming in the later part of 2010. Then in 2011, during a weekly stalking session of various rock legends, they picked up a couple of hitchhikers in Jason Cone and Phil Baz. Sparks flew and bromance was born.......the Fionatrain had arrived.
The Story Thus Far:
Since the face melting creation of NTF the band has playing gigs in and around the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast area. The band's debut single is set to be released in the coming weeks with the EP soon to follow. The band continues to play to crowds of all sizes and love to put on a show.
