The album "Hello Again for the First Time" strolls seamlessly and shamanically between original folk and rock songs, powered by powerful lyrics reminiscent of the unconscious, deep desires and the psique in an intense, powerful and liberating way. What distinguishes Rebecca Sharp from so many other talents is her potent voice and the fact that she arrives with such a mature and strong first album from beginning to end, we are compelled to dive in and always bring it back to the day's setlist.
Singer, song writer, brazilian daughter of english parentes, graduated from Goldsmith's College of London, Rebecca decided at the age of 12 she wanted to be what she effectively becomes now. As a girl she saw a Van Halen performance in music class and asked her dad to buy her an electric guitar. Studied guitar for a year and began writing texts and poetry registered in a red book secretely hidden away and burned years later.
At the age of 14, started a home studio to explore and understand how to register, edit and produce music, another aspect of her career she would come to embrace only 10 years later, during her stay in Barcelona. There she set up an electronic music partnership with Hector Martinez, still active, producing sounds that continue playing in the great festivals of the type in Europe.
