Formed in the Summer of 2011 as a busking/song writing experiment 'Rofi James' began to develop and hone their sound. Strong melodies with memorable hooks driven by infectious percussion/bass with big choruses.
'Rofi James' took the 1st place title at NUIG WITLESS 2013 Battle of the Bands. In the 15 years the contest has been running, no other acoustic act has ever won the competition.
In similar fashion Rofi James were also announced as the WINNERS of Iradio's iRocks Battle Of The Bands 2013! They will be recording in Grouse Lodge Recording Studio! (Used by R.E.M, Stereophonics, Mcfly, Bloc Party, Will.I.Am, Michael Jackson, Muse, Paolo Nutini and many more).
The trio are no strangers to performing to a crowd, recently sharing the stage with acts such as The Original Rudeboys, Mundy, The Stunning and up and coming Irish band Ham Sandwhich.
