Born in London in 1963 to Greek Cypriot parents. Second of six children, five boys and one girl.

Completely self taught, Chris plays many different instruments in many genres. He started by learning to play Greek traditional music and after emigrating with his family from UK to Australia in 1979, he started working in various Greek clubs in both Brisbane and Melbourne. He performed with many famous artists from Greece, including playing lead Bouzouki in 1991 for Mikis Theodorakis in Perth WA, with the WA symphony orchestra and choir.
Chris is older brother to recording artist and TV star Peter Andre. Together the have toured many parts of the world and have played some of UK and Europe’s finest venues, including The Royal Albert Hall and the 02 Arena. They have also ‘shared the bill’ with some of the biggest names in the world of Pop Music including Madonna, Bobby Brown, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams and many many more!! As brothers they have worked and toured together since 1991and still do to this day.
Chris has written original songs in both Greek and English. He now also performs regularly as a solo artist and plays at some prestigious venues. He has performed at St James Palace for Princess Anne’s charity ‘The Not Forgotten Association’. He has played at numerous F1 events both in UK and in Europe, on various cruise ships throughout Europe and into the Caribbean. As well as many festivals, air shows etc, Chris is now planning a national theatre tour in the UK.
Chris Andre continues to regularly perform both in the UK and overseas and says ‘I love music just as much today as I did when I first started trying to teach myself all those years ago’.
