Kev was interested in music from an early age. He was always singing as a child and drumming on anything he could find. At six years old he started playing the piano, drums at thirteen and guitar at sixteen.
He was always fascinated with his dad's record player and vinyls and remembers listening to Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison and The Beatles. However, a taste of AC/DC's Razor Edge album at seven years old, steered his musical taste in a different direction and he grew up listening to hard rock, metal and grunge. He now finds himself listening to music encompassing a wide variety of genres, and appreciates versatile musicians past and present from Al Green to ZZ Top!
Kevin has completed grade VII on piano certified from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and has a Diploma in Popular Music Practice (drums and percussion) from DrumTech Music School London. He also studied Media Engineering and has a keen interest in Sound Engineering and the entire recording process.
Kev has played in many venues throughout the years in different bands and when in college he played an original set at The Dublin Castle, Camden, London, and he features on 'Tech Records Volume 1' an album released by the new label Tech Records. He is currently working on his own debut album, with the help of his girlfriend Elaine who features on the album playing fiddle and providing some key backing vocals on some tracks.
