Paulinho Tó, Mariana Mayor and the Projeto da Mata
The project is a tribute to the fiftieth anniversary of the landmark of Brazilian music for its political content of resistance to Brazil's military dictatorship. Paulinho Tó, Mariana Mayor and the Projeto da Mata gather to remember the songs and texts, but also to talk about the current political reality.
Paulinho Tó, singer-songwriter released his album "Temporal" in 2014. Michel de Moura, guitarist of the Projeto da Mata, released the album "Canções para enfrentar tormentas, tempestades e garoa " in 2014.
The musicians are promoting in 2014 a tribute for the show "Opinião" presented in December 11, 1964 and directed by Augusto Boal, that brought in the line-up, among others, the brazilian singer-songwriter Zé Keti. In this show, singers and actors interspersed songs to stories relating to social problems of the country.
Paulinho Tó, Mariana Mayor and The Projeto da Mata will play a special show-tribute at Centro Cultural São Paulo, in the same date of the premiere in 1964 - December 11, 2014.
