La Banda Municipal del Polo Norte són necessaris per diversos motius, però segurament, el més important de tots és que les seves cançons són cròniques d'una Barcelona que coneixem i que ens hem caminat. D'unes històries que bé podrien ser les nostres, protagonitzades per gent que podrien ser els nostres amics. I tot això amb classe, amb ironia, amb un cert toc de filosofia de bar i melodies pop perfectes. Després d'escoltar el seu tercer disc 'Calor' (Discos Flotantes, 2014), segur que us enteneu una mica millor a vosaltres mateixos.
La Banda Municipal del Polo Norte (The North Pole Local Ensemble) are necessary for several reasons but, probably, the most important of them is that their songs are chronicles of the Barcelona we all know well and have walked around. Of stories that well could be ours, starred by people who could be our friends. And all these with class, irony, a pinch of pub philosophy and perfect pop tunes. After listening their 3rd album 'Calor' (Discos Flotantes, 2014), you will, for sure, understand yourselves better.
