An offshoot of established Edinburgh-based band Death Trap City, Titus Pullo began as a solo project for singer/songwriter Craig Robson to explore a more intimate, acoustic vibe which resulted in the release of the Acoustic #1 EP in Feb 2012.
Having cut the demo in a day on acoustic instruments, Robson wanted to explore the potential of the tracks within the context of a live band. Collaborating with fellow Edinburgh-based musicians, the project developed and quickly gelled with the band Titus Pullo playing their first show a few weeks later.
Spurred on by the positive feedback Titus Pullo set about working on new tracks which combined the best elements of the intimate, acoustic feel, delivered with an anthemic sound.
First single 'Pieces Of Me' showed the fruits of that labour - a new, energetic arrangement of a track from the first EP, honed in the rehearsal room and on the stage over the band's first year.
Titus Pullo's debut album 'Regardless Of How It Appears' was released on Mon 25th Nov 2013, ushered in with an album launch show 2 days prior at Edinburgh's Electric Circus.
A second full band E.P 'If It's The Last Thing I Do' was released in August 2014, and signalled the end of the band era of Titus Pullo, after 2 remarkable years.
In late 2014, Craig bid his band mates a tearful farewell, and left the UK for the foreseeable future, armed with only an acoustic guitar and himself. Either found in bars covering only the very best in pop over the past 40 years, or recording the occasional 'on the fly' acoustic EP or video, Titus Pullo continues the way it was originally intended - as a means of expression.
