La música d'Alessio Bondì és una brúixola que gira sense parar, influenciada per sonoritats surenyes, el folk italià, un punt místic i ritmes ansiosos. Cançons per acompanyar un llarg viatge per carretera, per retrobar un primer amor o redescobrir una platja perduda. El seu primer àlbum, 'Sfardo' (Malintenti Dischi // 800A Records, 2015), és una compilació de deu cançons que transpiren l'herència siciliana sense deixar de sonar contemporani. Genuí i sentit, és un treball que ens transporta a la infantesa de Bondì, als jocs i als racons de la seva illa, que ben bé podrien ser records extrapolables a la vida de qui els escolta ara encisat.
Alessio Bondì's music is a compass that won't stop moving, influenced by southerner sounds, Italian folk, a sacred halo and energized rhythms. Songs fitted for a long road trip, for looking into the eyes of a long loved or rediscover a hidden beach. His debut, 'Sfardo' (Malintenti Dischi // 800A Records, 2015), delivers ten songs breathing his Sicilian heritage without sounding oldfashion. Genuine and brave, this album will take us back to Bondi's early days, his games and favorite spots in the island. Memories we could all relate to, while we listen to 'Sfardo' in a contemplative mood.
