New Politics - indie-rock band on DCD2 Records/Warner Bros. Records - David Boyd [lead vocals, guitar], Søren Hansen [bass, guitar, keys, programming] came to Brooklyn via Denmark, and joined with NY native Louis Vecchio [drums]. The band’s single, “West End Kids,” reached the top 30 Alternative chart in its first weeks and is steadily climbing. Vikings is a follow up to the band’s A Bad Girl in Harlem, which spawned the commercial knockout, “Harlem,” which landed on multiple trailers for the film Frozen as well as garnering placements for “America’s Got Talent,” Microsoft, and Taco Bell.
