It all started at her fathers L.A. studio when she had her first encounter with music and fell in love. This spirit was equally apparent during her unforgettable reggae cover-rendition of Kanye West’s HEARTLESS on the VOICE OF SWITZERLAND.
The same was true when she entered the studio together with producer Slädu where they found themselves on the same wave-length allowing her to truly find her inner musical-self. The ten songs were crafted almost simultaneously and this can be clearly heard. Authenticity, naturalness and commitment – all qualities that JO ELLE exemplifies and as a result has beautifully packed into her debut album COMFORT ZONE. Shaped by numerous projects, among others with the roots reggae ensemble, The Stasers, she demonstrates her impressive musical versatility with the COMFORT ZONE.
Taking the reins into her own hands, this woman writes all her own songs flawlessly
combining pop with different influences ranging from reggae to soul. The album COMFORT ZONE exudes happiness and conjures up warmth and sunshine even on a cold and rainy day.
