A lo largo de los últimos años la banda de pop/rock leonesa “Polaroids” ha ido ganándose un lugar entre los grupos más importantes de la provincia de León, llevando al quinteto a compartir cartel con artistas consagrados del panorama nacional como Mikel Erentxun, La Unión o The Bright.
El gran salto para la banda se produce en 2011, cuando el grupo participa en el certamen “Noise Off Festival” y se alza con la primera posición, por delante de más de 200 bandas nacionales e internacionales. En Marzo de ese año el quinteto leonés es seleccionado junto a otras 29 bandas emergentes para participar en la última fase del concurso (“Off-line”), y viaja a Madrid para actuar en la popular sala But en un cartel en el que se encuentran bandas consagradas como La Unión o Marlango, y artistas emergentes como El Langui, Labuat o José Andrea.
En 2013 el quinteto da un paso adelante en su carrera y decide entrar en los “Estudios Tripolares” de León junto al productor Juan Marigorta (Cooper, The Bright, Fabián) para grabar lo que será su primer EP autoeditado en formato físico, al que llamarán “Estaciones”. El disco contiene el popular single “No vuelvas más” y cuenta con la participación del artista plástico astorgano Jesús Palmero en la realización del videoclip y todo el diseño de la obra.
A finales de ese año la banda comienza a preparar su nuevo trabajo, “Pequeño Universo Sonoro” junto al productor Pepe López (Quijano, Pájaro Sunrise, Fabián), y firma con el sello astorgano “Marciano Sonoro” para editar a nivel nacional su nuevo disco.
Over recent years " Polaroids " has been earning a place among the most important groups in the province of Leon, leading the quintet to share the stage with renowned artists of the national scene as Mikel Erentxun, La The Union or Bright.
The great leap for the band occurs in 2011, when the group participates in the contest "Noise Off Festival" and stands in the first place, ahead of more than 200 national and international bands . In March of that year the band is selected along with 29 other emerging bands to participate in the final phase of the competition ( "Off -line " ) , and travels to Madrid to perform live with famous spanish bands as La Union or Marlango, and emerging artists like El Langui , Labuat or Jose Andrea .
In 2013 the quintet takes a step forward in his career and decides to record new songs with producer Juan Marigorta (Cooper, The Bright, Fabian) to record what will be their first EP self-released in physical format , and they will be called "Seasons". The album contains the popular single "No vuelvas más" and has the participation of famous plastic artist Jesus Palmero in the realization of the video and all the design work. The photographic design is done by photographer Mateo Pérez.
In 2015 the band begins to prepare his new work, "Pequeño Universo Sonoro" with producer Pepe López (Quijano, Bird Sunrise, Fabian), and signed with the astorgano label "Marciano Sonoro" to edit nationally its new disk.
