Gavin Edwards is an accomplished, professional singer/songwriter from South Africa.
Gavin moved over to Ireland with his band (Franklin) in 2002 by request of ex-Westlife star, Brian McFadden, who saw them perform in a holiday resort while on honeymoon in South Africa. Brian was so impressed with what he saw, that he immediately signed them to his own management and record label in Ireland, which resulted in an Irish Top 20 hit for Gavin and the band in 2004.
Before Franklin Gavin was Front man for the band Allegory who with Roxy Rhythm Bar in Mellville started the crazy monday student night which was pulling in 4000 peeps a night in the end .
