In this weeks Climbing Daily comments show, Charlie looks at the issue of trust in climbing, and how as a rule if you claim a route or summit you are generally believed by your peers.

There are many cases throughout the history of the sport where doubts have been raised, but today we look at 2 in particular, Tomo Cesen and Rich Simpson.

Tomo, a Slovenian mountaineer, has claimed some incredible achievements in his time, some of which have been strongly questioned, in particular his solo summit of the South Face of Lhotse in 46 hours.

The other case which Charlie looks at is Rich Simpson, an incredibly strong British Climber who claimed to have climbed Action Directe (9a/5.14d) at the Frankenjura, Germany.
