Beste gained rewards in various music competitions with her high school band. After her graduation she attended Ankara University Conservatory Opera Division.
In her college years, she performed lots of concerts both singing and playing with her band in various venues in Ankara and Istanbul. In the last year of college, she had a military service experience even a little : ) Thanks to her alto voice she was selected in first place as jazz vocalist in examination of Turkish Armed Forces Military Band Turkay Orchestra. Soon after that she left the service and decided to focus on her album. In 2014, she rolled up her sleeves to record her first album and she worked with arranger and producer Bijen Rahimi.
On the one hand she was working on her album on the other hand she was performing as lead vocal in box-office hit theater play named Uncle Vanya by Anton Chekhov which had been staged over 5 years in Ankara state theaters.
Her debut album “Bu Köy Adam” was released on 5th of February. All songs in the album have been written by Beste Kırmacı. The album consist of songs which are melancholic but full of hope, grey like Ankara weather, all natural(there is not any corrections/readjustments on voices or sounds) and are blended by her admiration and passion to rock music and jazz music.
Now she invites all music lovers to join and walk together with her in this musical voyage and testifying to her new experiments.
