Nel 2010 partecipa ad X Factor, scelta da Elio e le storie Tese. Il suo primo singolo "Cipria e rossetto" prodotto da Mara Maionchi e Alberto Salerno riscuote un discreto successo radiofonico e la consacrano come l’artista emergente più trasmessa dell’estate 2011 (RTL 102.5, Deejay, 105, 101, Radio Italia e moltissime altre).
Il primo album "La valigia con le scarpe" (Leave Music/Universal), è stato accolto con grande successo dal pubblico e dalla critica: selezionato dalla giuria del Club Tenco e candidato alla TARGA TENCO 2014 per la sezione "MIGLIOR OPERA PRIMA", vincitrice MUSICULTURA 2013, premio della critica al PREMIO BIANCA D'APONTE 2012, NINFA D'ARGENTO 2014, finalista PREMIO BINDI 2012 e PREMIO FABRIZIO DE ANDRE' 2013.
Nel 2015 riceve il PREMIO MUSICA E CULTURA 2015 in memoria di PEPPINO IMPASTATO per il video "I Muri".
Cassandra Raffaele is a “pop art” artist sui generis. She’s a multi-instrumentalist (she plays guitars, ukulele, synthesizer, drums), a songwriter and producer.
She uses music as a tool to express her personal artistic mood, made of colors, strong lyrics, changing sounds, ranging from electronics to punk, from folk to rock.
“She has a natural jazzy and blues attitude which shines through her voice" declared the famous jazz musician David Amram performing with her, during one of his special concert in Bari on October 2011.
"CHAGALL" is the title of her second album, which also features contributions from the bands Elio e Le storie Tese, Brunori Sas and the Nico and The Red Shoes (France).
