PRESENTED BY KERRY ANNE

Poetry For Poultry is an indie band that started with former 'The Motherland' member, Geraint Bojé, writing folk songs as a side project.

After the success of his EP, 'A Pale Shade of Blue', the music grew and so did the number of band members. With Marc Wilson on drums, Martin Clifford Earle on lead guitar, and Maxine D'Hotman De Villiers on keys.

The sound of Poetry For Poultry can best be described as; rememberable and sparse melodies, ambient musicality accompanied with the deep "dad-voice" or "boyband-Falsetto" of the vocals. The music is best suited for nostalgic drives from town to town, cooking in the kitchen, or creating a dramatic atmosphere while you awkwardly explain to your partner how you managed to bear a child with another lover.
