Milo Brugnara, cantautore Folk trentino, unisce da sempre alla musica l’impegno sociale e culturale controcorrente.
Calca i primi palchi a 17 anni, come cantante e polistrumentista in una band di amici dal nome ironicamente stravagante (“The Ducks’ Killers”) affrontando un repertorio che comprende parecchie varianti di rock.
Negli anni successivi si appassiona sempre più alle sonorità Folk ed i suoni di chitarra acustica ed armonica a bocca prendono il sopravvento: inizia così il percorso di cantautorato.
Il 2014 si sviluppa tra numerosi concerti e la stesura di nuovi brani che, registrati assieme alla band (a cui nel frattempo si è unita la violinista Marta Pizzini) nel corso della primavera 2015, andranno a comporre il nuovo CD, intitolato "Sguardi", uscito a maggio 2016 e prodotto da Percorsi Musicali Trento.
All'uscita del nuovo album seguirà una serie di concerti di presentazione.
L'anno termina con alcuni passaggi di testimone all'interno della band: Dopo 8 anni di eccellente collaborazione,CD, spettacoli e di numerosissimi concerti ed una lunga serie di chilometri percorsi assieme, il fisarmonicista Andrea Robol abbandona il progetto; stesso discorso per il batterista Roby Rupert Santini, che seppur in meno tempo, si è fatto molto apprezzare per la sua competenza ed abilità, non solo come batterista ma anche come riferimento in studio di registrazione. Con entrambi resta intatto un rapporto di sincera stima ed amicizia che farà sì che certamente le strade prima o poi si ri-incroceranno.
I due uscenti sono comunque sostituiti da altrettanti entranti: a cavallo tra fine 2016 ed inizio 2017 entrano a far parte della band: Simon Coppolino, già noto elemento della band roveretana "i Plebei", alla fisarmonica e Luca Rossi, batterista evolutosi nel contesto Folk / Combat Folk regionale.
Dopo qualche mese di assestamento, alla ricerca di nuovi equilibri, nella primavera 2017 si riparte con grinta, pronti a trasmettere nuove energie e raccontare tante storie!!
Milo Brugnara is a Folk italian songwriter from Trentino, who connects, from the very beginning of his career the passion for music with the importance of the social commitment.
Moves his first steps on stage at the young age of 17 as a singer and multi-instrumentalist in a rock band (“The Duck’s Killers”) and developing in the following years a particular liking to folk sounds played with his guitar and an harmonic, which lead him into a career in folk songwriting.
The second half of 2012 was dedicated to recording the new album “Cuore, Mente, Libertà – pensieri quasi clandestine per restare umani” that involves the presence in Recoding Studio of the complete band, that follows him during the concerts, that sees the presence of Andrea Robol (accordion), Daniela Degasperi (second voice and choirs), Daniel Pegoretti (bass), Roby Rupert Santiny (drum).
The following years passed by among numerous concerts and the songwriter with his band (that by this time counts the presence of the violinist Marta Pizzini) returns into Recording studio for the new album “Sguardi”, released in May 2016, produced by Percorsi Musicali (TN).
The year comes to end with some handover into the band: after many years of collaboration, concerts and kilometers together the old friend Andrea Robol leaves the group followed by the drummer Roby Rupert Santini, leaving their places to two new musicians: Luca Rossi (drummer evolved in the folk contest with the old band “Seven Deadly Folks”) and the accordion player Simon Coppolino (a well-known artist of the band “I Plebei”.
After a few months of rearrangement of the balance of band, the new year begins with several concerts (1st may in Brentonico, Concert at Castel Belasi..) that show a new determination and energy to play and sing a lot of new stories.
