With the increasing population of Delhi NCR more buses are needed that would be able to cater to the ever increasing demand for affordable and convenient public transportation. DTC Senior official says, they will try their best to hit that number of CNG Buses at the earliest. Transport department feels that Supreme Court's deadline of 2018 December for increasing the number of public transport buses to 10,000 is tough but not unachievable. Senior Officials said "We are yet to receive a copy of the order, but if a deadline has been set, we will have to adhere to it and we will need about 4,500 more buses". Find out more in this video.
