With Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox fans of both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Fox's X-Men franchise are left wondering what will happen to the darker, edgier direction of movies like Logan and Deadpool. While speaking at an investor's meeting with Disney executives, CEO Bob Iger cited the success of Fox's R-Rated X-Men spinoff Deadpool as an "opportunity" for Disney to create an R-Rated branch of the Marvel movie franchise.
