Mandatory evacuation orders were issued for Fillmore, California, as the Thomas Fire continued to rage through the area on Thursday, December 14.The fire, which has been burning for nearly two full weeks, destroying or damaging around 1,230 structures, had by Thursday morning grown to 242,500 acres and was still only 30 percent contained, according to fire officials.This video, shared on Twitter, shows flames as well as the fire’s thick plumes of smoke as it made its way down the hills near Fillmore.
