Footage has emerged of firefighters rescuing a German Sheperd stuck in a frozen lake.

The video, captured at Lindy's Lake in West Milford, New Jersey, shows two men pulling the dog out of the cold waters.

Later on, the dog can be seen walking on the ice towards onlookers.
