Yankees Reportedly Get Giancarlo Stanton In A Trade

Giancarlo Stanton may soon be wearing pinstripes. Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports the Marlins have agreed to a deal that would send the slugger to the Yankees. Late last night the New York Post and the San Francisco Chronicle’s reported that a deal was imminent. Stanton is owed 295 million dollars over the next decade, though he can opt-out of his deal after 2020. Starlin Castro is the only major leaguer heading back to Miami in the deal.
