Deputy national security adviser Dina Powell leaving White House President Trump's Deputy National Security Adviser, Dina Powell, said she will resign early next year. White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders confirmed that was always Powell's plan. Powell has been a key aide to national security adviser H.R. She was also a part of senior adviser Jared Kushner's diplomacy efforts in the Middle East. Jared Kushner Powell's exit is on good terms and comes at a time when several administration officials, like Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, mull leaving their posts.
