World Bank cuts M'sia 2015 GDP forecast to 4.7%

The world bank has cut its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) forecast for Malaysia next year by 0.2 percentage point to 4.7 per cent as it expects the nation's economy to grow at a slower pace amid tumbling oil prices. Its country director for South East Asia, East Asia and Pacific Region, Ulrich Zachau said that the bank expects to see a decline in exports and current account surplus for 2015.
