Plantation company KULIM, said in a statement that it expects to plant between 5,000 and 7,000 hectares of palm oil in central Kalimantan per year. It said, the first 500 hectares of land clearing for a new planting programme, together with the setting up of 80 hectares of oil palm nursery, will commence in the third quarter of the year.
