Axiata shortlisted to buy India's Viom networks

Axiata is among four companies that have been shortlisted to acquire India's largest independent telecom tower company, Viom Networks which is controlled by Tata Teleservices Limited.

Indian Daily, the economic times reported yesterday that the other companies shortlisted besides Axiata were private equity funds Carlyle and providence as well as American Towers.
