Puncak Niaga accepts takeover offer by Selangor govt

Puncak Niaga Holdings has finally accepted the takeover offer from the Selangor Government, clearing the way for resolution of the state's long delayed water restructuring exercise. The Selangor State Government will takeover 100% equity in Puncak Niaga Sdn Bhd, as well as 70% equity in Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (SYABAS) for RM1.55 billion cash.
