School-going children who are temporary displaced during natural disaster such as flood or the current crisis in Lahad Datu and Semporna will face disruption in their education. Many will spend their time with various activities except revising their lessons or doing their school work. Excuses such as not being able to bring their school bags and books to the centre are common. Thus, they lagged behind their friends who are not living in these disaster areas.

What can be done to ensure these children can still keep up with their studies while staying at these centers? Who should take up the responsibilities or initiate the efforts such as providing free tuition?
