Venezuela to create new 'petro' cryptocurrency

Venezuela is creating a new cryptocurrency called "petro" as a last attempt to cope with the country's failing economy. President Nicolás Maduro revealed his "petro" plan on his weekly TV program. Nicolás Maduro Maduro said the cryptocurrency intends to help the social and economic development of the country.
