WalletHub has released the list of safest cities in the U.S.

The world presents all sorts of dangers, and WalletHub recently revealed the cities that are most apt to provide a safe haven from them.
In compiling its list of 2017's safest cities, the site weighed "35 key indicators of safety," including assaults, hate crimes, natural disaster risks, and the number of people lacking insurance and emergency savings.
Nashua, New Hampshire came out as the safest, followed by South Burlington, Vermont.
In spots 3 through 5 are, in order, Warwick, Rhode Island; Columbia, Maryland; and Gilbert, Arizona.
Fargo, North Dakota fills the 6th slot and Lewiston, Maine take the 7th.
In 8th, 9th, and 10th, respectively, are Plano, Texas; Portland, Maine; and Brownsville, Texas.
