India and Sri Lanka was witness to a rather unique event at the Ferozeshah Kotla. The visiting Lankans brought out their masks as they were having a hard time dealing with the pollution and smog that engulfed the national capital. The unhappy Lankans made their point clear to both the on-field umpires Nigel Llong and Joel Wilson at several points when they forced the play to be stopped at regular intervals with complaints against the conditions. That did not go down well with Indian captain Virat Kohli, and he made it evident while batting. Kohli who it seemed wanted to not waste time, was forced to declare earlier than he would have preferred.
