"Blood & Treasure" Gets 13-Episode Order From CBS

On Thursday CBS announced that it has ordered 13 episodes of the one-hour serialized action-adventure show “Blood & Treasure.” The series will center on a brilliant antiquities expert and a cunning art thief who team up to catch a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure. As the two heroes crisscross the globe hunting their target, they unexpectedly find themselves in the center of a 2,000-year-old battle for the cradle of civilization. “Blood & Treasure” will be produced by CBS Television Studios from a script by Matt Federman and Stephen Scaia, who will executive produce alongside showrunner Taylor Elmore. Marc Webb will direct the show - and team up with Ben Silverman and Mark Vlasic as Producers as well.
