Selena Gomez Thanks Friend During Acceptance Speech

Selena Gomez teared up during acceptance speech for the “Woman of the Year” Billboard Award. She discussed how her best friend donated her kidney, so that Gomez could stay healthy and functioning. Gomez stated, “If I could be honest I feel like Raisa (Gomez’s best friend) should be getting this award, because she saved my life… I feel incredibly lucky. Honestly, I couldn’t be more grateful for the position I’ve been given in my career from seven to fourteen til now.
