HBO has parted ways with Def Jam Music mogul Russell Simmons, removing his name from the “All Def Comedy” following a sexual assault allegation surfaced this week from screenwriter Jenny Lumet. HBO announced on Thursday: “HBO will be airing All Def Comedy as planned. However, Russell Simmons will not appear in the new series and we will be removing his name from the show moving forward.
