Shortly after it was announced that Matt Lauer was fired overnight over a sexual misconduct complaint, multiple sources claimed to Page Six, that Lauer allegedly sexually assaulted a female NBC colleague during the 2014 olympics in Sochi, Russia. The New York Post column reported that his alleged victim has spoken with NBC’s human resources department on Monday, November 27th. An NBC insider told Page Six, “The evidence was so compelling that Matt was fired on Tuesday night.
