Mariah Carey Gets $5 to $10 Million Settlement from Ex

Mariah Carey has finally reached a financial settlement from her former fiancé James Packer.
According to TheBlast.com the pop diva won a settlement package between $5 and $10 million. She was originally seeking somewhere in the ballpark of 50 mil, so you can see that this is considerably less than what she wanted.
The site also claimed that she’s been able to keep the large diamond engagement ring he gave her, which is worth less than $10 million… but still an expensive piece of jewelry.
Mariah reportedly based part of her settlement on the fact that she uprooted her life and moved to Los Angeles to be with the billionaire businessman.
The couple was engaged from January to October 2016, and after the split she accused James of doing something awful to her assistant while on a yacht in Greece.
Either way, she moved on with backup dancer Bryan Tanaka… so all’s well that ends well.
