Ridley Scott & Tom Hardy Team Up With 'Taboo' Creator For 'A Christmas Carol'

In a press release on Tuesday, it was announced that Ridley Scott's Scott Free London and Tom Hardy's Hardy Son & Baker will be teaming up to produce an adaptation of "A Christmas Carol," as well as several other Charles Dickens novels for BBC One. Steven Knight, the author of "Taboo" and "Peaky Blinders" said in the press release, "Any question about narrative storytelling is answered by Dickens. To have the chance to revisit the text and interpret in a new way is the greatest privilege.
