Tampa Police Seize Gun, Question Person in Seminole Heights Murder Spree

Tampa police believe a tip about a McDonald’s employee and a gun is related to the string of murders in the Seminole Heights neighborhood.Police Chief Brian Dugan said a person is being questioned, but he or she is not under arrest and “may be completely innocent.” But he did say he believes the person and the gun are related to the Seminole Heights murders.He also said investigations take time and that this one is progressing slowly.Four people have been killed in the Seminole Heights neighborhood since the beginning of October. Benjamin Mitchell, 22, was killed on October 9 in the first of three homicides over 11 days. Monica Hoffa, 32, was killed two days later. Anthony Naiboa was killed on October 19, 200 yards away from the first murder scene.
