Is James Gunn Working On Guardians Of The Galaxy Spinoff Films?

Though the Guardians of the Galaxy have charted their own course for adventures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are plenty of characters and concepts introduced in the film to build from.
Website Comicbook.com shares that the films' Director James Gunn is currently working with Marvel to achieve that very goal,
possibly expanding the cosmic side of the MCU with movies featuring new superheroes who have yet to get their own spotlight.
