“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is estimated to make over $200 million in its opening weekend next month. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens" earned a record opening of $248 million in December 2015. “The Last Jedi” will likely earn the biggest opening box office weekend of the year, which is currently held by Disney's remake of “Beauty and the Beast." The only other films that have crossed the $200 million mark in their opening weekends are “Jurassic World” and “The Avengers.
