Village Abandoned Near Deir Ezzor After Heavy Airstrikes

Ongoing airstrikes on the village of Subeykhan, Syria, have caused extensive destruction, as seen in footage from November 22.A burned out truck is visible in the footage along with badly damaged buildings. The Facebook page that published this video, said the city, located southeast of Deir Ezzor in Syria on the west bank of the Euphrates river, had turned into a ghost town.Pro-opposition media said most of the population had fled, and estimated airstrikes on the cities and towns south of Deir Ezzor had displaced 400,000 people.Syrian government forces and their allies continued to fight with Islamic State forces in Subeykhan on November 22, local media said.
