In the video, captured in Nanchang City in Jiangxi Province on July 20, the baby is smiling at the cat when all of a sudden the cat slaps him on the head with its paw and makes a scary face at him.
The stunned boy then starts to cry and turns to his mum, who can be heard saying: "It's OK!"
