According to Business Insider, Apple’s HomePod smart speaker won’t be released until next year. The company announced the smart speaker in June with a promised release date in December for the US, UK, and Australia. However, due to unspecified issues, it’s postponing the launch date of its entrance into the smart speaker category. Apple’s delay means Amazon will get another holiday season to expand on its lead in the smart speaker market.
