Trump On Al Franken Allegations: 'I Don't Want To Speak' For Him

President Trump on Tuesday addressed the sexual misconduct allegations against Al Franken.
President Trump talked to reporters on Tuesday, and on the topic of groping allegations against Democratic Senator Al Franken, the president said he didn't want to speak for him.
"I don't want to speak for Al Franken. I don't know what happened," Trump responded, when asked if the senator should resign. "He's going to have to speak for himself. I'd rather have him speak for himself."
However, the president's tweet on Thursday was much harsher.
"The Al Frankenstien picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words. Where do his hands go in pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 while she sleeps?" Trump tweeted, referring to a photo that shows Franken groping his accuser Leeann Tweeden.
On Tuesday, Trump also shared his views on the controversy surrounding Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore over sexual misconduct allegations.
"I can tell you one thing for sure - we don't need a liberal person in there, a Democrat," the president said in his supportive remarks.
When asked by a reporter, "is an accused child molester better than a Democrat?" Trump said, "[Moore] denies it."
"If you look at what is really going on, and you look at all the things that have happened over the last 48 hours, he totally denies it," the president continued. "He says it didn't happen. And, you know, you have to listen to him also. You're talking about, he said 40 years ago this did not happen."
