The President and the Vice President of the country are earning less salary compared to the most cabinet secretary, secretary and army chief in the country. The reason for this is that the proposal to amend the law has been delayed for one year to remove this discrepancy in salary.Actually, this discrepancy has arisen in the pay after the 7th pay commission applied two years ago. An official of the Home Ministry said that the proposal of raising the salary of the President, Vice President and the Governors has been prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs and sent to the Cabinet Secretariat.
