Miguel Orlando Collins, que l’on connaît mieux sous le nom de Sizzla et surnommé Sizzla Kalonji, est né le 17 avril 1977 à Annotto Bay, dans la paroisse de St. Mary en Jamaïque et a grandi dans la communauté très fermée d’August Town à Kingston. Issu de parents très dévots, Sizzla baigne dès son plus jeune âge dans la religion et c’est sans surprise qu’on le voit rejoindre les rangs des Bobo Ashanti dans le milieu des années 90.
