15 states join global alliance to get rid of coal by 2030

Delegates at the U.N. climate talks in Bonn reported that 15 countries have joined an international alliance to phase out coal from generation by 2030. The alliance's goal is to have 50 members on board by the next climate summit in 2018. But there's a slight dilemma. China, the U.S. Germany, Russia, and other countries who are big coal users have yet to sign up… Phasing out coal is a part of the Paris Agreement from 2015.
